Spring is here. It may not seem like it if you look out the window, but the urge to respond to a call to action over ‘de-cluttering' (or spring cleaning) is upon us. It has been an issue that finance teams have been grappling with for some time: how to de-mystify the complexity of local authority accounts, so that not only finance professionals can understand them.

We have just been through serious ‘de-cluttering' of our budget, setting out reports to make them easier to read.
