Stand united and speak with one voice for public services

Voices in local government are not being raised in union, and this needs to change, writes Heather Jameson.

When Boris Johnson wades into a debate, you know there is a media bandwagon rolling into town.

The foreign secretary has added his voice to increasingly loud calls for extra funding for the NHS, amid evidence of a winter crisis, Aussie flu and worse.
