A step-change in NHS devolution

The public vote for Brexit represented a national call to take back control. Jack Airey explains how inflexible central control over health must be countered by empowering local leaders through devolution

As the Government contends with the fallout of Brexit, stability is understandably the order of the day. The country is in a state of flux.

In time though, as the path we have chosen becomes clearer, it is crucial that ‘making Brexit work' does not mean a return to business-as-usual in Whitehall.
