Stevenage BC spent £672,536 on a recent programme of redundancies, a freedom of information request has established.

Stevenage BC spent £672,536 on a recent programme of redundancies, a freedom of information (FOI) request has established.

Between April 2010 and November 2011, the authority was found to have made 29 members of staff redundant, paying nearly £130,000 in to the pension service to compensate for six early retirements.
