Streeting promises 10-year plan for social care

Health and social care secretary Wes Streeting has promised a 10-year plan for social care that will run alongside the one for the NHS.

Health and social care secretary Wes Streeting has promised a 10-year plan for social care that will run alongside the one for the NHS.

Speaking yesterday, Streeting said problems with the NHS could not be solved without social care and welcomed opposition calls to work on a cross-party agreement.
