Supreme court rules Euro funds are lawful

A Supreme Court Judge has branded the secretary of state’s decision to cut European funds to Merseyside as ‘unimpressive’ but lawful.

A Supreme Court Judge has branded the secretary of state's decision to cut European funds to Merseyside as ‘unimpressive' but lawful. 

The government admitted during the proceedings that Merseyside would have got an extra 24m Euros if all English regions had been treated the same.
