Sutton set to take full ownership of outsourced education company

An independent report has found that the company had ‘moved away’ from the council’s ‘ambitions and values’.

Sutton LBC is to take full ownership of its outsourced education company in a bid to improve its accountability.

Cognus was established by Sutton as a stand-alone limited company in 2016 to provide education services.
