Swindon BC is leaning towards joining a Thames Valley mayoral devolution deal despite opposition from five Oxfordshire MPs.

Swindon BC is leaning towards joining a Thames Valley mayoral devolution deal despite opposition from five Oxfordshire MPs.

The council's leader Jim Robbins indicated Swindon was likely to commit itself to the Thames Valley option in what would be a snub to local authorities in Wiltshire, Dorset and Somerset after talks over forming a Wessex strategic authority.
