Tackling child exploitation together

A programme to support areas battling child exploitation has been launched by the Department for Education. Ann McGauran reports on how the £2m scheme will work with councils

A new national scheme designed to improve how local areas respond to child exploitation has been launched by education secretary Damian Hinds.

Backed by a £2m budget, the consortium behind the Tackling Child Exploitation (TCE) programme is led by Research in Practice, together with The Children's Society and the University of Bedfordshire.
