Taking the initiative together to tackle unhealthy weight

Kensington & Chelsea RLBC’s Go Golborne initiative has stopped the rise in childhood obesity in the ward, says Cllr Sarah Addenbrooke.

As with many of the issues facing modern councils, there is no single, simple solution to tackling childhood obesity.

One in five children are overweight or obese when they start school, increasing to one in three by the end of primary school.
