Talks to be held on coastal devolution

The appetite for devolving powers to coastal councils will be discussed by at least 28 senior officers and leaders at a private meeting.

Blackpool Council leader Cllr Simon Blackburn told The MJ the meeting at the Local Government Association's annual conference would aim to discover if there was an ‘appetite for non-geographic devolution'.
