Town hall staff offered 1% pay rise

Local government employees have been offered a 1% pay increase taking affect from 1 April 2014.

Local government employees have been offered a 1% pay increase taking affect from 1 April 2014.

The National Employers said the offer was ‘fair' to staff given the financial pressures faced by local government.
