Funding for the Troubled Families programme could continue beyond 2020 after it was found three-quarters of councils are poised to make early intervention cuts.

Funding for the Troubled Families programme could continue beyond 2020 after it was found three-quarters of councils are poised to make early intervention cuts.

The MJ understands that the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government is keen to extend the programme if money can be secured from the Treasury in next year's Spending Review.
