Trust in public sector managers at an all-time low

Institute of Leadership and Management find senior managers in public sector are trusted less by staff.

Senior managers in the public sector are trusted less by their staff than any other bosses, according to the latest research by the Institute of Leadership & Management.

The 2011 Index of Leadership Trust reveals that chief executives in the public sector scored just 58 points out of 100, suggesting they are failing to effectively tackle the problems facing their organisations.
