A few weeks ago there was an explosion in a Newark house which demolished a terraced house, part- demolished two adjacent houses and damaged others. Two people died.

The blue light services are our first responders when it comes to incidents like this. Their training and experience equips them to deal with the most challenging circumstances and at the scene of the explosion they were certainly impressive.
