Two of a kind

Buckinghamshire CC and Harrow LBC’s unique HR partnership not only cuts costs but allows the pair of authorities to retain specialist skills, generate income and improve resilience. Gillian Quinton explains

In April a milestone will be reached in our ground-breaking shared services agreement with Harrow LBC.

This is when some 20 human resources staff at Harrow will TUPE over to Buckinghamshire – the next stage of development in the shared service following the introduction of shared management in August 2016.
