United call following homelessness surge

The local government sector has united to call for urgent action following a surge in the number of homeless families.

The local government sector has united to call for urgent action following a surge in the number of homeless families.

The number of households in temporary accommodation has risen by more than 12% over the year to March to 117,450 households, according to figures published by the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government today.
