Scotland’s social security cabinet secretary has warned that the full rollout of Universal Credit to Glasgow later this month will cause increased poverty and hardship.

Scotland's social security cabinet secretary has warned that the full rollout of Universal Credit to Glasgow later this month will cause increased poverty and hardship.

Universal Credit full service has so far been rolled out to 22 local authorities in Scotland and by the end of 2018 it will have rolled out to the other 10 councils, including Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen.
