Unspent EU funds at risk of being reclaimed

Wales could have to return EU funding if it is not spent by the end of the year, a finance watchdog has warned.

Wales could have to return EU funding if it is not spent by the end of the year, a finance watchdog has warned.

While all of the funds have been allocated to projects, £504m has yet to be spent according to a report by the Auditor General and is at risk of being reclaimed by the EU on 31 December.
