We need a new vision for youth services

With the launch of the LGA’s new youth services plan, Michael Bracey feels that leaning towards a growth mind-set is key the future of young people.

This month the Local Government Association (LGA) launches its new vision for the council role in youth services.

It's a welcome move from the LGA, following news that plans for a new government youth policy statement have now been shelved, with youth work instead featuring as part of a wider civil society strategy.
