Council leaders have described securing proper funding for the Valuation Office Agency (VOA) as ‘one of the highest priorities for local government'.

The Local Government Association last week stressed the importance of the Government providing ‘sufficient resources' for the agency, particularly with the move to 100% retention of business rates.
