Two years of one voice for Bucks

The logistics haven’t always been easy, but becoming a single unitary authority two years ago has given Buckinghamshire Council greater power and influence and has delivered clear improvements, says leader Cllr Martin Tett.

It's two years since we formed a brand new large unitary authority for Buckinghamshire, and what a journey it's been.

Much of what we've achieved was planned as part of our unitary vision, but a big chunk of it wasn't, as we and other councils have responded to unforeseen global crises during the last two years.
