A senior councillor has warned against a ‘car-mageddon' recovery post-lockdown as he urged the sector to invest in walking and cycling.

Speaking at the virtual Local Government Association (LGA) conference today, deputy leader of Waltham Forest LBC, Cllr Clyde Loakes, said councils should make ‘brave decisions' to make more space for pedestrians and cyclists on our streets.
