Problems with the individual electoral registration verification service could affect the conduct of the Parliamentary election, the Association of Electoral Administrators (AEA) has warned after the verification service went down two days in a row last month.
A policy update for AEA members and branches, seen by The MJ, read: ‘This is becoming the highest risk for the conduct of the Parliamentary election, especially when there are problems with the system and given that the registration deadline is less than a month away.'
