Warrington in credit downgrade

Ratings agency Moody's said the council had moved from A2 to A3 due to 'high reliance on commercial income’.

Warrington Council has seen its credit rating downgraded by Moody's.

The ratings agency said the council had moved from A2 to A3 to ‘reflect Warrington's significant exposure to risks arising from its high reliance on commercial income'.
