West Sussex CC has announced a new improvement plan which will see neighbouring East Sussex CC's chief executive take on a joint chief executive post.
West Sussex CC's chief executive, Nathan Elvery, was suspended in September after a report into the council's failing children's services department by Hampshire CC chief John Coughlan.
