Worcestershire CC is expected to give the green light to widen the scope of its children's services company next week.
The council was previously ordered to create a wholly-owned company, Worcestershire Children First, to run its children's social care services by the Department for Education (DfE) in order to improve on its ‘inadequate' Ofsted rating.
