Lib Dems hit back at ex-minister Redwood

Wokingham BC’s ruling Lib Dems have hit back at former local government minister Sir John Redwood after he chastised the council for wasting ‘huge sums’.

Sir John, who was local government minister under John Major in the early 1990s, claimed Wokingham had hiked-up council tax and pleaded poverty – all while blaming the Government for ‘any and all their problems’.
