Social landlord faces wide-ranging probe

The UK’s largest social landlord faces a wide-ranging investigation into its handling of residents’ complaints after a watchdog reported ‘severe maladministration’ in a high-profile case.

Clarion Housing Group, which manages 125,000 properties across 170 councils, is now under investigation over several complaints similar to a case in which one vulnerable resident suffered extensive disruptions to her water supply, leaks, mould, damp, delayed repairs and a rodent infestation.
