The recent Budget contained a financial boost for public services, but many difficult decisions are still to come in next year's Spending Review. 

Last week's Institute for Government (IfG) public services conference included a session looking in detail at the announcements in the Budget and the implications of the Government's spending plans for public service performance in 2025-26 and beyond.
