ADASS survey: Nine in ten fear care duty failure

Less than one in ten social care directors believed they would be able to fulfil their statutory duties next year as the sector continues to wrestle with a burgeoning funding crisis, increasingly ‘fragile’ markets and escalating demands.

Less than one in ten social care directors believed they would be able to fulfil their statutory duties next year as the sector continues to wrestle with a burgeoning funding crisis, increasingly ‘fragile' markets and escalating demands. 

The Association of Directors of Adult Social Services (ADASS) budget survey this week revealed that confidence among directors was significantly waning.
