ADPH president gets Whitehall role

The president of the Association of Directors of Public Health, Jeanelle de Gruchy, has been appointed as the new deputy chief medical officer for England.

The president of the Association of Directors of Public Health, Jeanelle de Gruchy, has been appointed as the new deputy chief medical officer for England.

Dr de Gruchy, who is currently director of population health at Tameside MBC, will co-lead the new Office for Health Improvement and Disparities (OHID), alongside director general Jonathan Marron, when it launches from October.
