ALACE appoints honorary secretary

The Association of Local Authority Chief Executives (ALACE) has announced that chief executive of Mid Sussex DC, Kathryn Hall, has been appointed as its honorary secretary.

The Association of Local Authority Chief Executives (ALACE) has announced that chief executive of Mid Sussex DC, Kathryn Hall, has been appointed as its honorary secretary.

Tracey Lee, chair of ALACE, which represents senior officers across the UK, said: ‘I would like to pay tribute to Ian Miller, who was our honorary secretary for eight years. Ian has played a pivotal role in the trade union, ensuring that members' interests are represented and they are supported, often at the most difficult times.'
