Anstee to run as Tory's Greater Manchester mayoral candidate

Trafford MBC leader Sean Anstee has thrown his hat into the ring and confirmed plans to run as the Conservative mayoral candidate for Greater Manchester.

Trafford MBC leader Sean Anstee has thrown his hat into the ring and confirmed plans to run as the Conservative mayoral candidate for Greater Manchester.

Speaking at The Conservative Party conference, Cllr Anstee said people should not assume Labour's former health secretary Andy Burnham would win.
