Ashfield to appoint first female chief

Carol Cooper-Smith is to be appointed interim chief executive of Ashfield DC.

Carol Cooper-Smith is to be appointed interim chief executive of Ashfield DC.

Ms Cooper-Smith was interim service director for place and communities at the council in 2017, and will be the first female chief executive for Ashfield or the urban councils that came before.
