Auditors praise department for evaluation

The National Audit Office (NAO) has praised the Department for Education’s (DfE) approach in evaluating the local authority children’s social care projects it funds.

The National Audit Office (NAO) has praised the Department for Education's (DfE) approach in evaluating the local authority children's social care projects it funds.

In a report published today, the NAO suggested other departments could learn from how the DfE monitored the impact of its children's social care innovation programme and successor programmes.
