It is not austerity that caused Birmingham to issue a s114 notice

Local government is a tight knit family – but sometimes that requires a bit of tough love.

When Birmingham City Council issued its section 114 notice last week, there was a flurry of activity around the story The MJ tweeted. Some of the local government family stepped in with offers of condolence.
