Critics have warned the worst of the Housing and Planning Act will come in the yet-to-be-announced regulations which will decide key details of the law.

Speaking to The MJ after what he called a ‘dreadful' Bill was granted royal assent last week, former Local Government Association (LGA) chair Lord Beecham claimed there were still a ‘huge' number of unanswered questions and that some of the ‘most harmful' details were still to be laid out in the regulations.
