Spelthorne and Warrington BCs are facing Best Value inspections amid concerns over debt levels at both authorities.

The Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities made the announcement following the publication of assurance reviews by the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA).
