Black Country row over new homes deal

A spat has broken out in the Black Country after Dudley MBC pulled out of a deal with neighbouring authorities Sandwell, Walsall and Wolverhampton to build around 76,000 new homes.

A spat has broken out in the Black Country after Dudley MBC pulled out of a deal with neighbouring authorities Sandwell, Walsall and Wolverhampton to build around 76,000 new homes.

The three other councils hit out at Dudley for deciding to walk away from the Black Country Plan ‘without any prior notice' and for ‘going against the agreed approach and years of faithful collaboration between the four councils'.
