The financial future for Telford & Wrekin Council remains ‘very bleak' despite a series of commercial successes, a senior councillor has warned.

Cabinet member for finance, Cllr Lee Carter, said that, although the council had made £80m worth of savings over the past six years, it was still able to put aside some cash to invest in new efficiency initiatives.
