Bolton MBC is to call for the suspension of requirements to set balanced budgets.

A motion has been passed with unanimous cross-party support by members asking the Government to ‘disregard or suspend the relevant provisions of the Local Government Finance Act 1992' due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
