Bournemouth Council has scrapped the post of chief executive as it seeks to make efficiencies ahead of possible local government reorganisation.

Bournemouth Council has scrapped the post of chief executive as it seeks to make efficiencies ahead of possible local government reorganisation.

Tony Williams has accepted a £394,000 redundancy package and his responsibilities as head of paid service have been transferred to executive director for adult and children's services, Jane Portman.
