Bristol to strike homes deal with Legal & General

Senior councillors gave the green light to sell council-owned land and purchase homes once the site is developed.

Bristol City Council is to strike a deal with Legal & General to develop 180 modular homes in the city.

Senior councillors gave the green light for a deal under which the company will purchase a disused former allotments site known as Bonnington Walk for about £7m.
