Ex-Brum chief steps down from HMRC

Former Birmingham City Council chief executive, Lin Homer, has announced she will step down from as chief executive of HM Revenues and Customs in April, after more than four years.

Former Birmingham City Council chief executive, Lin Homer, has announced she will step down from  as chief executive of HM Revenues and Customs in April, after more than four years. 

The Chancellor of the Exchequer, George Osborne, paid tribute to her for her contribution to public sector transformation.
