Whitehall should fast-track the resettlement of at least 300 of the most vulnerable children seeking asylum, according to charities and MPs.

Children's charity Unicef, Citizens UK and shadow home secretary Yvette Cooper have all called on the Government to help 300 children from Italy, Greece and France before the start of the next school term.
