Carr-West to head up LGIU

Local government think tank the LGIU has appointed Jonathan Carr-West as its new chief executive.

Local government think tank the Local Government Information Unit (LGIU) has appointed Jonathan Carr-West as its new chief executive, following the departure of former chief Andy Sawford.

Dr Carr-West was previously director of policy at the LGIU and was previously director at the unit's Centre for Local Democracy.
