Should more money be put directly into the ring-fenced NHS or is it wiser to protect local council community services to improve NHS outcomes? asks Stephen Weigel.

Years ago, I had a summer job as a milkman to earn cash to help me through my university.

The round that I took over had a ‘milky' that did far more than was required and assisted elderly people on his milk round that were living independently at home as best they could.
