Chief executive retires after 43-year career

Bassetlaw DC's Neil Taylor has announced he will step down next month following four decades in local government.

The chief executive of Bassetlaw DC, Neil Taylor, has announced he will retire next month.

Mr Taylor put off his original retirement plans this year following uncertainty about the date of this year's elections.
