Chief Officer Access and Care

Joint Appointment, Leeds City Council & Leeds Community Health Care NHS Trust.

We are looking for someone with the right values and leadership skills to work across the NHS and Social Care. You will be accountable for the statutory functions of the Council in assessing and meeting the needs of adults in the city: and for developing, with Leeds Community Healthcare an integrated Health and Social Care Service to improve health and wellbeing in Leeds.

You will be the Chief Adult Social Work Advisor to the City, leading a portfolio to meet the needs of Leeds's citizens. You will haveresponsibility for leading the transformation and delivery of adult social care assessment, care management and community support services. Over time you will develop and lead an integrated health and social care portfolio.You will develop and deliver a long term strategy for these services in partnership with other organisations and partners.

You will be expected to demonstrate success in leading and managing a team to achieve high quality service outcomes. You will have extensive experience of operating across Health & Social Care Services. You will have a proven track record of working successfully within a political and partnership environment with the ability to develop practical and creative solutions to service and corporate challenges. You will also be able to demonstrate innovative working to deliver improved outcomes for citizens, customers and stakeholders in a time of unprecedented challenge.
